Hi guys...SunFest is kicking off today in West Palm Beach, Florida.

 It's one of the biggest music festivals in South Florida with some of the top bands and musicians! Train, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Offspring, The Black Crowes, Gavin DeGraw, Phillip Phillips, Barenaked Ladies just to name a few!

 1 day pass is $37.   Where can you get live music, floating bars and sunshine? Great time and a must if you live in West Palm Beach!

2013 FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival

This Saturday night at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center, in Wellington, Florida.  I watched an exciting jumping competition! It was a close competition that went into a jump off.  Over 8,000 people were watching as Brazil's Alvaro de Miranda and AD Rahmannshof's Bogeno owned by de Miranda and Victory Equestrian BV win the grand price of $500,000.  Their time was 43.96 seconds to win!

This was a good introduction to many more competitions.  It was exciting to watch as the competitors tried to get through the course with no faults.




 Some tips for those who might think about attending arriving early is key to get a good parking spot
and find free parking passes in Newspapers throughout the Community.

Overall it is a great event to attend with or without kids!

West Palm Beach Green Market..Something for Everyone!

I was finally able to take a few hours on Saturday and go to the Green Market located downtown West Palm Beach.  It moved over to the new Waterfront so I was anxious to check it out since it changed locations.   I was not disappointed!  There was a lot more space for more vendors, with plenty of options for fresh flowers,
 fresh produce all locally grown and great food to choose from.

Started off the morning with a shot of espresso from the booth at Havanas, which is a favorite for the locals for great Cuban food.  Check out their restaurant off of Dixie Hwy.  They have a window so you can order from the street, and it's open 24 hrs.  Next I tried out the apple cider donuts or you can choose from all the pastries from the local bakeries.  Grab a loaf of fresh bread or fresh pasta for dinner.  One of my favorite aspects of the Green Market is the wide range of flowers to choose from.  I got a beautiful orchid from R & R Orchids, http://rrorchids.com.   They have a great selection of orchids to choose from.

Make sure to park in the Banyan Street garage which is free for the Green Market. The new spot was wonderful and exactly what downtown West Palm Beach needed. The vibe was relaxing and inviting with friends bumping into one another with great conversation, music and espresso filling the air.   I couldn't think of a better way to start the weekend off!
